i believe you guys have made awesome traffic from SU you should know this, once you bookmarked your website, vblog, blog or any fav website of yours, the visitors from there will keep coming and coming. as long as it's interesting; especially funny video
Ok, SU is really rated with positive numbers in this thread. But in my opinion, is SU good for businesses that needs sales? Because what I know about SU is that it is great in getting visitors but its just visitors and no sales coming from them. Any proof that they made great sales from SU would be very much welcome.
In a simple word....you vote how other people's site looks and inturn they vote for you...and in that way if your site/blog is good...it may top up the home page as many of them votes for you...and so u get a lot of traffic
We love it also. We auto-submit all articles submitted to us to Stumble and Del.icio.us. It DOES help with traffic...
stumble traffic is usually really good traffic, if your page can hold visitors you can do well on stumble

Not really, they have an almost 0% CTR and often view for just a few seconds. They never click anything or click any ads because they move onto the next site.
One day I wrote a blog post about the LG Viewty, it went to third in google for its keywords, got 8,000 uniques and had a CTR of 2.3% Another day I wrote a blog post about webcams, it got 12,000 unique visits from SU over 3 days with a CTR of 0.02% So basically they use up bandwidth.
SU is rediculous!. nothing can get you more traffic. the only problem is there are no conversions. they are just jumping from site to site.
I absolutely agree with you and I have already said it already. The visitors in SU are just visitors and not customers. The target is too wide and only a few, if there are any, will become a customer to buy something from the advertisement.
I get a ton of conversions from stumbleupon traffic, around 5% actually. It all depends on what your website is selling.
