i posted this thread in Oct 12th 2007. i reported this site to adsense . http://www.7catz.com/jess/ and guess what ?? the site is still running , showing adsense ads, breaking all adsense TOS, and google adsense .. they just don't care !! if you click on your ads by mistake (you are banned from adsense), but site with big amount of visitors and clicks breakign all adsense TOS, showing porn pics, etc .. still running, and yes they get payed. i see no reason to report site such this one !!
wow. that is a major screwup on google's part. The site must not be getting enough clicks for google to notice. Still, it is a shame that your report has gone unnoticed.
There is thousands of sites like this,it's kinda funny how everybody is concerned about one site, just because somebody post it here.Leave this to google and don't waste your precious time with it.
That site is nothing but a bunch of frame blocks.. it has absolutely no SEO value what so ever.. I do not think that sub folder off the main domain is even indexed in google and that is probably why it is not banned yet. Check this out here is the mid frame - www. 7catz.com/jess/ middle_frameset.htm I put spaces in the above URL to not make it a hot link... otherwise it would be banned in days, I would bet if I did make that above URL a real hot link.. Remove the spaces to copy and paste in the address bar and take a look.. I bet a hot link would get that section banned quick like. Definitely breaking some rules.. As far as what I have learned were TOS rules anyway... LOL Like using images to persuade clicks.. Humm! Boulder
It pains to see people making money so easily by breaking ethics and rules. They may get banned some day, but the lenience is not available to everyone. VIsionMaster
Forget about him making money, he might not even be earning back his hosting fees. Had be been making money, he would have been thrown out of the system by now
Agree. Maybe 'cause it's still running (as per today) that made other good publishers become so confused. Cheers,
Well, it's really surprising that sites like these don't get banned and some get banned for no reason at all. Disgusting.
It's sites like these that have resulted in me making my Adwords settings for my own sites set to come up on Google searches only. When I looked at the stats of the traffic that was being directed to me via Adwords, I saw that my US traffic was not balanced with the traffic abroad (and for this niche, US traffic should have been higher), I was getting a lot of clicks all in short windows of time, and the sites were basically all adsense ads. It is unfortunate because I also make money on Adsense and if the quality of the sites that are on Adsense go down, I may find another way to utilize my advertising space. No one should want to send their unsuspecting Web site visitors to spammy sites. If too many quality publishers opt to have their Adwords ads only come up in Google searches, that says something about the quality of Adsense ads for those publishers that are concerned about the experience of their Web site's traffic on their site.
