I differ on that, the latest IE 7 was providing functions that existed in Firefox or Mozilla long ago. So it is more of a catching up job for IE 7. But I do admit that it is far better than IE 6. Opera is neat and good and fast, but I am too used to Netscape/Mozilla/Firefox to use anything else unless IE 8 is a killer. Have not tested it out yet.
I know, I was being silly Funny though looking back through my old bundled SW packages. You can still find insanely old version of IE, Quicktime, Direct X and so on.
Yeah i know xD Although it's 5am here so i'm just being sleepy lol Old QuickTime version? Damn that must be a nightmare.. (i do not even speak for older IE versions..)
no I think in the case of QT, the older version are better! they won't ask you if you want to DL itunes every 7 hours
Ok, that is weird....speaking of bugs, my IE7 is showing some people's posts (but not all of them) as rolling off of the page (outside of the white and grey margin on the right).
Oh i just thought it would be the same like it is now but old stylish too so yeah.. lol I don't use QT so yeah
firefox has a better gui imo, tabs are loading faster and managing favourites is easy but I agree IE is a lot better by now I'm only starting IE7 to check my web designs because that's a must
i use ie7 and also firefox. They look each other (ie7 copies the firefox i think because firefox is older -instead of costumisation of course- ) I generally choose firefox, it is better and faster, i think.
Well I Like Mozilia Fire Fox. I think many webmaster will go for Firefox because as a open source browser you can install many plug ins and customize your firefox.... i have installed Alexa Tool bar, compete Tool Bar and also seo pluging from seochat.com Thanks
As per my experience with both, IE requires reboot twice to install(typical microsoft stuff), also it doesn't have extensions or bookmark keywords. But, with the same number of tabs, firefox eats almost double the memory. But, firefox could be the choice if you want your browser to eat 200 megabytes for breakfast.. Though I am also using firefox to take advantage of its extensions, but I equally like IE7 as well.
