Well only recently I picked upmaking simple html templates for practice. I've been working with graphics and this is the second template I've made in a while and it is much better than my first one. I need some opinions, suggestions, and stuff on this template - how can i make this better? do you see anywhere that i messed up? responses appreciated - thank you! http://nf6.org/testemp2/ p.s. - there is no navigation right now - buttons will go between the header and the content body - i am working on that right now so you can skip that part
uh..it works for me and a few friends - this isn't the first place i asked for help and so far no one else reported it try another browser maybe
Do you plan to have some kind of navigation on the page. It would be better if you increase the opacity of the Gamers Forum horizontal bar.
Its not brilliant, yet there are some nice aspects. I like the header image, however on the whole the site does lack a professional feel. Tips: I would make the site background that grey colour, #e1e2d8 The hyperlink colour is not readable on the background color, untill you hover over it. I also don't like the colour scheme much, i would suggest you maybe take alook at http://www.colourlovers.com for some good colour schemes. Also, i would recommend that you learn more about CSS and xHTML. The code behind the site is a bit dated, using tables for layout is so last year.
yeah, im working on that now, the last 2 days were crazy for me so i couldnt finish - and thanks for tip on the horizontal bar but i lowered the opacity to make it look as it it was just hanging on there i have a dark monitor so the hyperlink is very readable lol but I will make ita bit lighter or darker, whichever it needs and tables may be last year and thats because i started a few templates over a year ago, I just couldn't finish the images and full lay out because I had gotten a new job lol, i just thought i'd continue on with that thanks
