The design is okay, I would make the swirly sparks behind the logoes text lighter (lower the opacity)
I agree you should make your own design that will work out better so people see what you are able to do

Is what's currently up the template or your personal design? Definitely go personal if it's a design business!
the only thing i made was the header and banner, i can go personal but i dont know if it will work out well, im not much of a website designer.
Nice design. However, I would advise to remove that reflection you have for the header. The header looses focus. And would be great if you can avoid the vertical scroll on the home page. Otherwise good one.
