Ron Paul grilled by Tim Russert on Meet The Press

Last week, Russert destroyed Romney and he has brutalized Giuliani. This week, Mike Huckabee cancelled so he could pray for divine intervention before going on Meet The Press, and Ron Paul went on his place. Huckaboo will be on next week. Russert was tough as usual, but Dr. Paul didn't back down, and even made Russert look stupid a couple times.

    Part one
    Part two
    Part three
    Part four

The AP took pictures outside the show afterwards, where a contingent of Paulunteers showed up to support Dr. Paul.

"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they attack you, then you win." - Ghandi.

Great interview. Ron Paul is an intelligent, rational, informed, noble man. We makes sense. I hope people wake up and do the right thing in 2008 and vote for Dr. NO!

I thought it was an excellent interview by Ron Paul. Russert was ridiculously disrespectful in my opinion but I think Paul had the perfect answer for every question Russert threw at him. Russert was purposefully misunderstanding his answers and trying to frame him with "gotchas" but it's just such absolute nonsense. I hope Americans who get their news from the TV are intrigued by Paul and try to learn more...

Nice plugs on Fox Business News for Ron Paul
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cml7JLfGxkY

About half way through, after Frankenstein from the Ayn Rand institute finishes speaking (although he makes a great point about how we the people are our own worst enemies).

Great Endorsement by Adam Curry of MTV and podcast fame
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9WMdFhRAQM

Adam has been doing a lot of campaigning for Ron Paul through his podcast, The Daily Source Code, which has over 300,000 listeners.

Chicken Hawk and Master Neocon (research him) Bill Kristol slams Ron Paul on Fox News.

This is a brilliant slander piece. I laughed all of the way through.

    ----------------------

ARG (American Research Group) which has been one of the toughest polls (and perhaps the most accurate) for Ron Paul to gain in, has just doubled him up to 10% in Iowa. We are officially in play.

    Ron Paul Rising
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRTDynbHVYQ

This amazing video was made by a supporter, as a tribute to the Dec. 16th Tea Party. Everyone who donated should be proud they participated in true grass roots politics unlike ever seen before in this country, and establishing a record that was not funded by PACs, corporate bundling, special interest groups or lobbyists. Just regular, everyday folks.

I love the image at the end of Ron Paul delivering the baby America. I've been meaning to post it. Will do later this week.

I liked Kristol's attack. If the best they can come up with is "crank", and "anti-American" (this coming from a chickenhawk who has never done a day of public service), then we're in great shape. The irony of the attacks is that the more he is attacked, the more people like him. Few people trust old media anymore.

Here is the final draft of Lawrence Leppard's "Common Sense 2.0"
    http://ronpaul.cc/CommonSense2.0_NYT.pdf

Feel free to print it and hand it around.

Btw, Thomas Paine wrote the original "Common Sense" for those interested. It was a pamphlet about the revolution.

    -----------------------

Super important message, before I head out for dinner.

It is imperative that all Ron Paul supporters be registered to vote, and know when and where they can vote in their state. Votes are the only way this will get done, not internet debates, not raising money. We have to actually show the size and commitment of the grassroots to influence and possibly overrun the polls.

You can get information about your state here
    http://www.ronpaul2008.com/states/

Some states have closed primaries and caucuses, so it is URGENT that you are (1) registered to vote, and (2) registered Republican. Do not procrastinate, several state deadlines have already passed, and if you do not get on this pronto, you could miss out on your opportunity to be heard in the primary election. If you know any other Ron Paul supporters who are Dems, Independents or unregistered, please get and stay on them to register ASAP.

If you have any questions about the process or your state, PM me and I will help you get the relevant info. I cannot stress enough how important this is. Every vote counts.

Hi all you Ron Paul people. Glad to see so many people excited about him online. The corporate media doesn't give him much respect but that may burn them later.

I started a site that attempts to get the truth out about the candidates since the debates and media coverage are so scripted. Most candidates don't even answer the question that was asked in the debates and many of these candidates have flip flopped on issues. So we want to get the story straight.

If you have time and want to contribute your thoughts or videos, please visit http://thetruth.thevillage.com and post videos and/or messages about each candidate. We created a forum for each candidate and want to show how each candidate really stands on the issues. For example, I posted about Hillary Clinton running as an anti-war candidate yet she voted for the war and all of its funding.

Thanks for your time, please help us get The Truth out there to the people who are brainwashed by corporate media.

Following the orders of some self-appointed forum tyrant is not principled integrity.

You misunderstand your place in the Universe.

I always stand 100% by my comments.

I will deign to talk with you when and where I feel it appropriate.

You'll have to point out to me any thread on this forum where you have ever posted anything even remotely witty or intelligent.

You constant blathering and ceaseless cut and paste hackery might impress yourself and your fellow true believers, but it does nothing to impress those of us who reject the Kool-Aid.

Spencer, I've encountered you in another thread and outwitted you myself.

You have some of the most irrational logic I've ever seen on these boards. But in your own world, I am sure you are a friggin genius.

I'm sure that you believe this to be true.

Your beliefs and objective reality appear to be incongruent.
