Sorry Grim i missed your post but i will answer now.

Saddam Hussein is a monster. A monster with power. A monster with an army (weak or not), A monster that did not care about life or death, A monster that made his feelings known to the world, A monster that posessed at one time or another, some pretty horrible weapons.

I think that sums it up, and if you are a logical person you will see that anyone with these traits is a potential threat.

theres no hiding that he wasn't the greatest guy in the world but just because he does horrible things gives us the right to go kill the guy. It should be up to the people of the country if they want to over throw him or not.

Thats like saying because george bush is the worst president in history, he sent 3,000 troops to die for a worthless war, and caused the death of hundreds of thousands of civilians from starting this war. You don't see pakistan trying to come over and kill our president (although most would agree we wish someone would do it).

He was a monster no doubt, a monster who kept that country together, a monster who was in no way a threat to the world.

If you are a logical person you will see he was contained, bending over and taking it up the AXX in the end before we decided to invade.

See, statements like these really make you hard to take seriously.

The people of the country feared him.

The war being worthless is your opinion. In the future, when the Iraqi people have true freedom, and a stable government, then lets hear you call the war worthless. The wars goal is not worthless at all.

Talks like that against our president are dangerous, you could be held for treason, and plotting to kill him, just for saying those words, id be a little more careful.

He kept his country together, by tormenting the people and making them do his will. A logical person will see he got far less than he deserved.

Ahh but I am not sticking up for him, simply stating a fact. The people there do not get along well, a logical person would know that ;)

Compared to the current divisive state of Iraq, Shiites , Sunnis and Kurds fighting each other and killing each other and with Al Qaeda operating in this no man's land. I think Saddam rule is still much better.

If you truly dont know, i would waste my time trying to explain it, because your mind is closed on the issue. Look at it this way. Saddam murdered thousands of his own people. Bush has never done that, if he had, our government is one that would act to remove him.

Human is human. It does not matter which country's people he kills. So he can kill Iraqi people and that's nothing wrong, but if he kills his own people, then he's guilty? You make no sense..

I make plenty of since you just lack the ability to get it. Bush did not order anyone to go out and kill innocent people, yes i know innocents died, but that was not the intention, Saddam ordered the death of innocents, just for entertainment. Are you truly this blind. George W Bush may not be the best president in the world, but he is surely no Saddam Hussein, and to compare him as such just shows how closed and distorted the human mind can become. Its actually quite sad.

What's actually quite sad is that you lost the ability to think objectively. Saddam ordered the death of innocents, just for entertainment? That's one of the most ridiclous things I've ever heard in my life. Saddam is a murderer, there is no doubt, but still there was a reason behind murdering those people. And yes, Bush did order killing people. I don't give a damn about the intention, but your government 100% failed to find proof to back up the reasons they had declared when starting the war. No nuclear weapons, no nothing. And I have a brain, and ability to think so I'm able to see USA has never been into a war unless they'd have some benefits in the end of the war, such as petrol. You're no guardian of freedom or whatsoever. Only thing you can be called currently is global mafia.

Ill tell you this if oil is our benefit i hope it kicks in soon, gas prices are breaking me. Saddam did not just order the deaths, he tortured them and killed them and monstrous way. Since you talk like you know something i dont why dont you feel me in on Saddams reasons for killing people. If it was not for mere entertainment.

The following link leads to a horrible sight, viewer discretion is advised.

tell me what these children did to deserve saddams wrath? http://images.google.com/imgres?img...q=Saddam%27s+victims&svnum=10&um=1&hl=en&sa=N

This is the product of the man you are defending

You can't even understand what you read, can you? I am not defending Saddam in any way, I'm just trying to tell you Bush is not much different than what Saddam was.

How about this and this then? Also this, this and this..

    Yet you are still proud..

The difference is we are at war, There are going to be casualties and its a shame. But thats war. Bush didnt say go out and kill women and children....Saddam did. You are so blind. You compare bush to a monster, im sorry you and others that feel that way are dead wrong, i have met the man personally, he is a good sincere man, that is very compassionate of the iraqi people. Thats the problem, you people judge based on what you hear from someone else or off some website, rather than looking at the real person. Bush is not perfect, but he is far from a Saddam Hussein.

The only blind fool in this thread is you who still defends and justifies an ILLEGAL war that Bush and his war mongers started! The reason for going to WAR all you idiots that still defend this lunatic Bush is not because Saddam was a bad man but because they lied to all of you and alleged that he was a threat to the US as he possessed WMDs!!! We we all know the truth now that that was one big fat fucking LIE!!! WAKE THE FUCK UP!

If compassionate means killing, then you are right. Who are you at war with? Iraq does not have an Army, you are fighting civillians who do not want you in their country, get the hint and get the fuck out!
