I'm not sure if google just bans indivudual pages, but when a ban is applied, its usually for the domain and the subdomains as well. I think it's just google doing its dance.

    Sit tight. :)

    Bad Neighborhoods
    Mini-nets
    Virtual IP Address
    Duplicate content
    Traffic Scammers

I would stay away from mass link submissions.

    Hidden text or links
    Misleading or repeated words
Page does not match Google's description
    Cloaked page
    Deceptive redirects
    Doorway pages
    Duplicate site or pages

    any of those reasons

when your site is banned it means that it will not appear into google search engine. Simple. The motives. There are some people that explain very well what is about.

Using this method only shows if you have been deindexed or banned. I believe a true ban is whe all your related pages are also gone with subdomains.

If you type your business name and some of your webpages appear but your home page is missing, chances are you have been caught up in the deindexing

if the site is undetectable by SE (by any means), it's a sign of being banned.
