HI, I was wondering if I should remove my link from sig and just rent it out or something :) since its not related to the content of my page, I don't think my website gets any traffic or SE juice,

    what do u think?

It's true that all links help, but like everything else in life it is relative. I have a link to my SEO site in my sig but it gets more weight from Google than if it was to another site of mine about movies or finance since DP is a "internet/SEO/SEM" kind of site.

I would sell them and buy/obtain a decent PR5 link with the proceeds, it will be far more beneficial than a signature link. Signature links hold little to no value besides traffic, and in your case this would be minimal.

put it this way, your deffo not getting any pr juice because dp uses no follow tags on everything - could you imagine them maintaining a pr6 with all the crappy links on here.

i stand corrected, it must a diffenent forums source code i was viewing that made me think that.

anyway i would not want a link from here because imo google treats this site as a kind of shady network, not bad but shady. they deffo have people posing as webmasters buying links and reporting them.

people who put their own sites in their signiture are stupid, if they cant figure this out they deserve to loose their ranks. how much shady business do you think goes on on this site? ok there are legit webmasters, but they all work for google trying to weed out our methods. think about it asif you were matt cutts, hmmm how can i beat spam? i cant, so as the sayin goes if you cant beat em join em.
do you think that the big guns on this forum have their best nich sites in their sig - NO, why? because they are smart webmasters and they have spent a few minutes looking from outside the box. they just rent theirs out for extra income.

LOL anyone want to buy my sig space? i have a lot to say and expect to hit 1000 posts bythe end of the week. ROFL

It is a nice free way of getting a backlink and also some traffic to your site, so why would u want to remove them ?
