Can you share a link to your site? If we know the domain, we can maybe give you better tips than just trying to guess.

Is it just your index page or the whole of your site?

If its just your index page dont worry, it does happen from time to time, it should come back in a few days or so.

If its you whole site then you probably did something wrong, sort it out and submit a reinclusion request via Google webmaster account

    Yes, it is dreamlinestudio.com

In the 7 years we have been in business, the index had some flux but never has been completely deleted. It's curious that I have used some "services" like social bookmarking services which might of been the issue. They are now being deleted.

Crossing my fingers like so many others, just hoping its a google update of indexes.

I have a forum and blog dreamlinestudio.com/forum and /blog respectively. These sites are indexed and not touched. The main website is the one completely missing. I have tried typing "dreamlinestudio" with quotes with zero results.

I also used http://www.webrankinfo.com/english/tools/google-data-centers.php to see whats going on, lots of "navigation to the webpoage was canceled"

Sucks not knowing what's going on. I know im just of the many with the same issue, but it's still

dreaminjected, there is a big change at google and that is they have essentially done away with the supplemental index. I'm hoping that the problems I am having (just like yours) will be corrected once google has completed the merging of the index. Read more at the link below.

    http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2007/12/ultimate-fate-of-supplemental-results.html

Around 12/13/07 is when this started I believe. Not everyone was affected the same day. My site sank like a rock around the 19th. No social bookmarks point to it either and no paid backlinks. It's in and out of the serps multiple times per day, and none of the positions are anywhere near what they were before. I assume Google's datacenters are crunching the old supplemental index in with the main index. That may explain why irrelevant and parked domains appear higher in the serps then my site.

I have seen alot of people in forums recently describing the same problem, we are all hoping it's just google making massive updates, but we don't know for sure. It's day 2 of the being deindexed so we'll see.

I will make sure to report everything to help others on this board.

    Thanks Snowbird

that makes sense to me. If a website was banned, would the subs disapear as well? for example..

    yourwebsite.com/forum
    yourwebsite.com/blog

    ?

Did you maintain your ranking and keyword placement when you were back?

This generally happens when your site is hijacked by a proxy , search if you have a dublicate content indexed by a proxy cache.

I wouldn't worry about that too much, seems as though googlebots are working overtime lately. I guess it wouldn't hurt to add your url for the bot to crawl.

Theres a few different ways to see if you have been hijacked by proxy, what method do you use?
