I am looking for new ideas to generate traffic to a new site, but I want to outsource all of the work.

    I want to take a site from $0 a day to $5 a day.

In your experience, what has work the best.

I have a couple of sites with high paying keywords $.50 to $1 per click, but I do not have time to promote.

What have you tested and what works?

This is what I have done so far.

    1. Directory submissions - bring no traffic
    2. Posting on forums - 50 forums posts, bring around 1-2 uniques a day
    3. Yahoo answers - did not work for some reason, traffic died after a few days
    4. SEO - Keywords in that niche are extremly competitive, I need traffic now not in 10 years ....

    Post your ideas, thanks

If you need traffic NOW then PPC seems the solution. You can also try social networking sites (stumbleupon) but the kind of visitors you get from these sites don't click nor convert into sales (affiliate marketing).

Thats the main reason why I am looking for new ideas, with PPC I will never get a Positive ROI with the keywords that I am targeting, you usually have to pay $3-$5 bucks per keywords to get some clicks, Social Traffic sucks, it does not last long and its not targeted so people visit the site for a few seconds and they are gone.

Any new ideas to outsource work to increase site traffic?

submit an article to ezinearticles.com. Most of the time you will get a top 5 google ranking for the keywords that you target.

Can you point where my mistakes are?

For example for forum promotion for a credit repair site, I posted in around 24 threads. and get around 1-2 uniques a day.

    Is this too low?

    Coupla things:

There are different factors that go into whether a particular type of marketing "works" or not. With regard to forum marketing, it's not just the number of threads, but...

-Are you providing valuable/helpful information in your threads, or something that's new or interesting?

-Are you giving people a REASON to click on your sig (ie: if somebody's glancing down the thread and sees your signature, what about it would make them WANT to click? When it comes to marketing, remember, people only care about what's in it for them.)

You may have to re-examine your signature and how you've been using the forums. If you provide people with genuinely helpful info, it's more likely to grab people's attention, plus it shows that you know what your'e talking about. Combined with a compelling sig, that should increase the traffic you're getting.

The other thing is, why just $5 a day?

I know that's a big jump up from $0, but $5 a day is only $35/week. Would that even cover the cost of outsourcing it?

I'm assuming you're talking about revenue from Adsense clicks. What I'd do is keep the adsense, but incorporate an affiliate product(s) into the website, if it's appropriate to the site. That way, you can make money in more ways than one. If you can make $5 a day, why not go for $50 or $100?

    Hope that helps!

P.S. Also, regarding signature traffic, be sure that you're posting on active forums. The more active the forum, the more potential eyes that will see your sig line.
