New Search Engine Launched.

Hello

I have launched a new search engine. Its still in ***alpha*** stages. The best part of this search engine is that it will get you the most specific set of results. The worse part the search results will be delayed.

The search engine will not provide any answers/solutions ... but will just site references. If you are unsure how to use it just read the FAQs.

I would appreciate if some DP members can try and search. Try for something which you feel was most difficult to find on the web. Something which took you days to get the best solution.

Thats the catch... just use the form on the home page. Be specific for what you want. Write as if you were talking to a human and not a search engine and we will get you the best possible sites form the web.

I remember there was a chinese guy said that he had a search engine which has indexed pages 3 times more than google had. And it is true. on His website, after you submit a keyword, his script will send keyword to google, yahoo, MSN and baidu and return a combined result on the screen..

 

hmmm... It is just a Wordpress blog?? Doesn't look like search engine.

I this is this a bit of crap..

Don't use this blog idea, I say just put a search box on and get people interesting, It's very hard to use otherwize.

But nice idea..

Do what any normal search engine does.

Thats how it works... this will be the future of every search engine... human oriented...

You need to type in as if you were asking a human.

Not just "web design"

and click go search ... and you will have some good results for you..

** and yes spelling mistakes are ok! for humans.

I really like the concept, But the design really looks a lot on the wp. I was also mistaken to be a comment field.

Now I guess you can call it a search engine as it somewhat looks likes one.

 

When people search they want immediate answers. Perhaps you should tailor the site to a more specific need of the internet community, for example, when people want to research in-depth answers that a quick se search won't provide.

 

Make it like google with simple look...so ppl like it..

 

How fast are your results?

If you are sleeping or using the bathroom, do the results take longer? Doesn't seem feasible.
What if you don't understand a given search query? Do you ask for clarification? What if the results are not what the user was looking for? How long must he/she wait for another answer? And if the user is not happy with the results, why would they come back?
