Indian Police department is one of the worst in the world, if not the worst.
Police beat people to death, people beat police officers to death, it's common around these parts.
You have to be influential or very rich to avoid Indian police. They are one of the most corrupt mofos in this country.

They have video cameras on everything over there

In 1989 Japan experienced 1.3 robberies per 100,000 population, compared with 48.6 for West Germany, 65.8 for Great Britain, and 233.0 for the United States

American Civil Liberties Union representatives criticized the use of a Taser on Beeland, saying yelling at an officer is not illegal.

    Thank you ACLU.

This cop needs to go to jail. The police chief needs to be fired. Best Buy needs to be sued.

The US is ruled by and infested with morons. Cops just can't do whatever they want to.

If they can't handle the stress they should not be a cop. True they do not know when someone will pull a gun out, like the little blonde lady with arms in the air, one could have mysteriously appeared into her hands.

It's part of the job, no amount of 'but, but, but' will make it ok in my mind for them to be worse than the criminals themselves.

It's not a job I could do. To be honest I am more surprised there aren't more incidents like this. I've been in situations - the last was a few years ago, when a guy tried to force his way into our car with my wife alone in it, blocked from exiting, in an alley entryway. I broke his arm and fractured his face. I perceived the threat, took the guy down without injury, but he wouldn't take the hint. While I don't condone rogue cops - they should be jettisoned from their departments, and properly dealt with to the fullest extent of the law - I have seen enough of the other side to know that sometimes only force reaches through to the primitive part of the criminal brain.

I agree force is necessary at times, the little kid being tazed in school, this case with a little blonde arms in the air are far from 'criminal minds' though ;)

Trust me I am not opposed to force being used when necessary..

From what I can tell from a web community, I know you well enough, brother. I'm pretty certain you know when and how to put the hammer down. ;)

And agreed, the cops in these instances were totally out of line. Crappy training, combined with a mind predisposed to this, can make for a bad combo.

    Pretty damn cheap really.
IF she needed to be restrained and handcuffed (and personally I think the 1 min video was not nearly enough time to let the lady calm down before she was fried) it could have been done without a large, disabling volt of electricity to her. I think tasers are great. I think they add a good non-lethal way to disarm a dangerous criminal, but to use them widely and often, and on a lady in a Best Buy for not calming down on command, is utter BS. Sue the cop and the station house maybe, but I don't think Best Buy is really liable for the actions of the officer. They didn't say go taser that lady shes a crook.

Cops are pretty well paid when you consider the retirement benefits.

When they are out on the street 'trigger happy' they put the public at risk to protect themsleves.

Probably the same reason all priests are gay or rape little boys.
Probably the same reason all Muslims are terrorists
Probably the same reason all Jews are evil

    :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Nothing is wrong with the world.. All cops are not mean... Don't let the frequency of media biased coverage dictate your opinion of a group of people or a profession.
