low eCPM and extremely low payout becuse people are getting familiar with those ads format, google might get rich but publishers' income will NOT increase, follow this post after 1 year and you will see I was right :)

Google Adsense is only getting better and better these days. You can expect more from them in 2008.

Luckily Google introduces new ad formats so people CAN'T get used to them.

Knowing doesn't automatically bring in a good CTR or even a click.

Needs a bit of common sense and well ... skill

A recession will hit the US and Google will cut adsense revenues even more.

Shitty sites, with shitty traffic will continue to make less and less. While those with good traffic that converts for advertisers will make more and more. And international traffic will become more desirable as cost for good US traffic becomes a barrier to entry for smaller startups.

I believe that advertisers will increase more than the publishers. So we should see some more profit, and it will continue to rise.

Won't be much change. There is chance for less earnings since there is lot of competition for adsense. Google also started earning from other products. currently they don't want to depend only on ad rebenues. they may put more reestrictions for publishers.
