Is there a way to backup all the sites that are saved as bookmarks in a firefox browser? possible to save them all in a text file incase something happens?

I just upgraded to FF beta 2 and am a little paranoid about losing them all.

anions, do you mean use del.icio.us as an alternative or is FF somehow done through there for backing up?

A few weeks ago i sorted all my FF bookmarks into folders and would like to save it as a file/folder.

Yeah you can save your bookmarks. Goto Bookmarks->Organize Bookmarks->File->Export and then save to where you like. I did it when I reformatted and if you lose them just import them back.

Create an account with delicious and get the FF addon.

Then it will ask if you want to transfer all your bookmarks to delicious.

Henceforth, all your bookmarks will be stored online, and if you want to access them from another pc, just login to your delicious account and you're done.

    No importing-exporting crap.
