Some of the hatred for America comes out of the American Congress. Many times a local congressman will assist a company step on some little guys in the third world; because, the company is a campaign supporter or located in his district. The system allows a Congressman to insert some really far out provsions in spending bills. Pelosi tried the same trick and had Turkey outraged against the US. If you ask the average American about the whole thing, they have have no idea about Amernia. Probably never even heard of Armenia or Turkey.

What the world has to understand is that they need to get lobbyists like everyone else and send them to Washington. All the American hatred and attacks on the US only turns the average American against you.

Probably don't know the consequences of underestimation. You don't know one's size till you confont him. When anti-US feelings grow across the world your response is to tell them how wrong they are and what they should do instead, sorry, that just doesn't work, good luck with that though.

Where are you from? Is your country's leadership so great. Just like many who tell American needs to focus on their own domestic issues. Maybe in turn you need to worry less about America and worry more on your own countrys domestic issue.

Yes this is just another America is shit thread. Americans think they are sooooo great attitude. A breading ground for American hatred.

Stop throwing stones. Everyone knows the US has things to clean up and take care of. But everyone needs to look at their own countrys government and start their bitching and complaining there before throwing more stones at the US. Once they take care of business at home and get it order, let the US know so they can immulate your governments perfections.

Now that is just a dumb statement? Lets hope there is a world war III so we exterminate mankind! Even if this did occur, the war would take place in Asia as we have so many Air Force and Naval Bases in that side of the world. We all know that China has a huge army and a decent Navy, but they cannot contend with our Air Force. But I doubt it would ever come to this as we are talking about a very massive involvement from other nations who hppefully would help resolve any issue with talks not weapons. I don't know about you, but I would hope that my kids and their kids will be able to grow up without worrying about nuclear proliferation.

I agree that we, the United States should pull out of Iraq! We have no business being there anymore. At this point you have crazy people blowing themselves up killing innocent people. People in the middle east have killed each other for hundreds of years and they will keep doing it, we do not need to to get involved any longer.

My only comment about Bin Laden, coward. He runs and hides. If he were a man, he would continue to fight for what he believes in, not hide in some cave.

I didn't mean it like that
I meant it like "I can't wait until realizes that it can't rule the world, no matter how hard it tries"

I think a lot mideast leaders have to give the people a bogeyman to hate, to keep them from looking at how bad their own govts. are. The two most convenient choices are 1) The Jews fighting for that tiny speck of land over there, and 2) the superpower America.

The fact is though, in spite of the bad, America has given and continues to give enormous aid and comfort all over the world. You know who pays for that? The American taxpayer. You don't like us? Go pound sand. ;)

I worry a lot about my country, England, because every time some terrorist fool like Bush decides to do something we always support the USA.

It's a disaster and has cost us a lot of unnecessary deaths, especially in Iraq/Afghanistan.

I hear you AGS. Why is Canada in Afghanistan, We probably kill a lot of innocent people there, I'll admit it. I mean when your fighting the taliban, how do you even know who is and who isn't. There's no uniform.

No, but let me tell you what religious statement was part of the first governmental document in the geographical area that much later became officially called the United States of America. It comes from the Mayflower Compact of 1620. Here is the opening paragraph:

"In the name of God, Amen. We, whose names are underwritten, the Loyal Subjects of our dread Sovereign Lord, King James, by the Grace of God, of England, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, e&. Having undertaken for the Glory of God, and Advancement of the Christian Faith..."

That is not part of the founding of the United States, which did not come until more than a century and a half later. The Mayflower Compact was the first written document for governance in the American colonies being settled under the direction of the King of England. It was an unmistakably religious document. It established the Plymouth Colony as an unmistakably Christian colony. And for you America-haters, remember that it was a shipful of Europeans who set this precedent for the nation that came later, the USA.

Which has nothing to do with what the country was founded upon, nothing to do with the revolutionary war, nothing to do with the constitution, nothing at all.

Using the same logic we should also still be ruled by England ;)

    --
Last I heard we over threw the English from ruling us, to me that would mean whatever came with it as well..

What are you another Canadian freeloader and closet European.

Canada is part of Nato and has a Nato treaty obligation in Afganistan.

Thanks to the UK for your support. :)

America doesn't want to rule you. I'd prefer to just let the rest of the world kill themselves.

The issues here are attacks on American civilians and property, nationalization of American assests, piracy on the high seas and whatever other garbage the world is up to.

USA pisses off China countless times, just that China still depends on a successful USA, they made some noises here and there, fire a few missiles for testing and thats it.

They hold tons of USA treasury bills, if USA caught fire, China would be burnt badly as well.
