Does ad format affect CPC?

I've searched the forum for this info with no luck. I've heard that the first ad to load on a page has the highest paying ads. On my site, the first ad is a half banner and the last ad is a tower. I've found that the tower consistently outperforms the half banner in earnings per click by a wide margin. That makes me wonder if ad format impacts earnings per click.

hard to tell, but the answer is more likely yes. Different web designs should have different ad formats putting on different places. You have to try different placements and formats to find out the best choices for your website.

More than likely yes. Some advertisers pay more for different ad formats. Just test, test, test and see what format works for you.

Nope.. IMO, it does not effect CPC.
however ad position definitely effect it. Ads in your first Adcode pays more than rest adcodes.

That's exactly what I thought, but the ads that load first on my page do not get the highest rev per click.
