My new theme for my blog!

Hey all! I want some feedback. I started up a blog about a week ago (and it has about 16 organic RSS readers already). I decided to spice it up a bit with a new theme, but not sure if I did well on it or not.

My Old Theme: REMOVED. WP-cache wouldnt let me use my preview plugin.

My New Theme: Here

(I decided to get away from 800x600 as most web masters do not use it - only about 2-3% now and dropping daily).

I was hoping to go for something fresh in the new theme. I hope it looks good Any comments?

Update: The old theme was removed. Thanks PoemofQuotes for pointing it out. My WP-plugin conflicted with Cache, and I do not want to turn cache off right now. So if possible, please just comment on the new theme Thanks

 

I dislike the menu, but aside from that it's good. The layout, while not special, is well done.

 

Thanks for the comment, every little bit helps. What do you not like about the menu though? Too Spacey? Off Color? Not defined? (no 'borders')?

 

I like the new theme and colors. The spacing in the top nav is too crowded for E-mail Subscribe. Maybe even it out a bit more.

 

Nothing to really distinguish this blog from the many others out there - it is just plain

Understandable. For now I wanted to get out of the plain Kubric. Now although this is plain, I will probably be modifyign this one with some web 2.0 illustration (though of courss, I will be hiring a designer for that because I cannot draw, just attempt banners/badges with some success).

Yes, I did design it. hehe. Took me about 5 min or so. I think I am getting a bit better at designing banner text, not sure.

 

Your Blog looks simple and nice. Header is awesome ! I love it really. Then my suggestions are,
1) Reduce the margin on the right side of the Posts section & Increase the top margin of it.
2) Make the sidebars to look something different. It is very very Plain. I think some Fancy look with Backgrounds and rounded corners will be good.
3) If possible reduce the size of the sidebar. It tooo big.
4) The footer is very very simple. Give it a touch !

That is a nice web 2.0 theme that u have got there, I think that the RSS icon in the sidebar still needs some work. Rest all is fine
