Tell all you stories to do with Coke (not the drug ). One story I heard was the Santa only started wearing red, white and black because he was paid by the Coca Cola company. No wonder he was so fat!!
Wasn`t that one of the original ingredients back in the days when people didn`t know drugs and cigarettes are bad for you?
Here you go - Every story, urban legend etc about Coke and whether they are true or not. http://search.atomz.com/search/?sp-...date-range=-1&sp-x=any&sp-c=100&sp-m=1&sp-s=0
Mmm, Coca Cola, the nectar of the Gods. It is like a magic elixir. Give me a frosty cold glass of Coke on ice anytime. I have a sweet Otis Redding CD and one track is him singing a Coke commercial and it has a great line: Even makes a bag of peanuts seem like the choicest meal.
I know only horror storys with Coke Like it is use to clean blood on the murder scenes or toilets ... etc etc I don't drink that crap ....
lol Coca Cola is great for shifting those really bad stains and getting rid of deep down grime! Imagine what its doing to your gut!
I've been weaning myself off of it, but I never understood how it settles your stomach with all that acidic carbonation (but for me it does???)... maybe cause it's eating away all the nerves in my stomach? Been my liquid "breakfast of champions" for a while. Never heard of those more disturbing stories though... thanks for making me paranoid now lol jk!
Oh yeah... I was actually told by my dentist that you should never brush your teeth for a couple hours after drinking soda (and should rinse with water after), and if you do drink it, drink it fast so that it's not soaking your teeth for hours.
May want to read this http://www.snopes.com/cokelore/acid.asp - what you said is an urban legend basically Regarding the tooth thing, read this http://www.snopes.com/cokelore/tooth.asp for another urban legend busted regarding teeth & coke
http://www.junkscience.com/jun99/coke.html http://www.countercurrents.org/glo-venugopal070803.htm and it contained sodium benzine until an out of court settlement for untold amount was given to those to threatened suit for damages.
LOL! It's a drink... goes in one hole, out of the other simple! I don't drink it though, It's terrible on the teeth!
I'm going to mythbusters.com right now and find out how bad it REALLY is for your teeth. Edit: Well, doesn't look like they have it there, so the question is do I trust those web sites people linked to, that I know nothing about, or a dentist I know nothing about? Enough to make one want to become a chemist just to stay healthy.
I remember seing it on a English version of Mythbusters, apparently if you leave a tooth in a glass of CocaCola for a few days, the tooth dissolves. This wasn't true, however, if you leave a copper coin English being 1p/2p... leave it for a few days and it comes out like new. The tooth did look as if it had damage to it. Have a look here! http://www.snopes.com/cokelore/tooth.asp
If Freud was right, then the original was actually good for your mental health lol... but I think Freud was just basically insane and trying to figure out his own problems. Oops... I think I just used his psychology right there haha.
