The Palestine people were offered their own country in the United Nations General Assembly Resolution 181 but instead rejected that resolution and decided to wage war. Now they don't like the results of their actions and its Israel’s fault.

 

At some point after 50+ years of waging war against Israel, and seeing that the worst sufferers have been the poorest of the poor of Palestinians, it would seem that some members of the Islamic world would get their heads and real efforts together to try and forge a peace so that Palestinian people could live better.

The leaders of Arab nations have allowed and encouraged crazed extremist leaders of the Palestinian people to wage war for over 50 years and the Palestinians have been the ones to suffer.

Each time there has been a significant effort to establish some level of peace and security Israel has stepped to the plate. Each time it has been tanked by the most extreme Arab/Islamic group of the time.

The fundamentals of peace are easy. 100% accept that there will be tight controls on any extremism and violence from Palestinian/fundamentalist crazies that want to wipe out Israel. Accept significant security that can actually enforce that.

For that Palestinians will get substantial amounts of land. The exact land to be provided to Palestinians is and will be a difficult, difficult set of details to be worked out as history has shown.

Lots of land for iron clad enforcement of security. It would be a good deal after 50+ years of getting the "buffalo shuffle" from corrupt selfish extremist leaders, who have no qualms about sacrificing the lives of the poorest of the poor. Israelis would love that also.

 

IMO, there cannot be a Palestine, there will never be one. The situation on the ground is aweful, terrible. Palestine can never be an independent state. Even if it comes into existence, it will be just a Vassal state of the Isralies. If they don't like an elected government, the US would just put economic sanctions on the people teetering on the brink of economic collapse.

The only way forward is a "one-State solution", where both Israelis and Palestinians live together, side-by-side, as equal citizens of a Democratic society.

Palestine has proven unpartitionable and yet people who insist on Jewish supremacy are trying to find a Bantustan solution that will absolve Israel of giving political rights to the five million plus Palestinians it rules, while maintaining the fiction that it is a "Jewish democracy". This racist state can only maintain this fiction by insisting on the exclusion of millions more Palestinians and their descendants forced out of their homes.

The only viable solution is to end this structure of racism and to allow all people who live in Palestine-Israel to live in peace and democracy.
