I found the quickest way to make money online was to just start making money online and stop thinking about how to do it. Once I got started (18 months ago) it has taken till now to hit $60/day and I expect to hit $100/day in the next few months. If people are always asking for the secret formula then they will get it a hundred times over. Only when they implement the "secret formula" will they start seeing a return.
Action is of course very important part of it. But without knowledge you are acting blindly, hence why it took you 18 months to reach $60 a day. That's not an insult - I've been in the same position as I think many of us have My point is that if we can get the knowledge then are actions will bring much quicker results. While actually getting up and doing something will help you learn - if you can learn and apply a proven method and stick to it your results will be very quick and rewarding.
I agree with you. My problem is that I learn by doing. Had I chosen to learn by reading I would still be reading now and not making anything at all and just be sat there thinking "hmmm... how does all this work".
There is some money in site flipping.. as well as affiliate marketing, I think a combination of a number of different approaches as mentioned in the thread will yield a good result, I think diversity is the key to long term success.. i.e; if you just rely on adsense.. then google owns you, and you are effectively a google employee.. try a number of different methods, direct sales, link sales, subscriptions, clickbank etc.. multiple streams means if one stream stops the others will continue until you can replace that income stream Hope that makes sense

I like this topic. I try to make money on affilate marketing too. But it's enough difficult for me. Because I think you have to have 800-1000 USD for quick starting.
No you just need hosting - $10 and a domain name - $10 a month. There is a lot of avenues for free promotion but it needs is time, effort and dedication

Yes to start, But afterawhile your going to get addicted to risk. And with risk you need to invest and any idea you can find. So you will need some cash for domains and possible proffesional hosting. (like a VPS) Depends on your ideas.
Yes it is always a good idea to reinvest your earnings (if you know what you are doing)... but my point is that you need very little investment to get started and create a stable income.
But for You to do PPC You need to know what You're doing otherwise You can loose a lot of money. So I'm not sure it's the best way to start even if You already have some money...

its tough to get started or atleast it has been for me. ive jumped on one or two mentor sites and they helped a bit but i have yet to get any real money and my sales are sparadic at best. i think traffic is my main road block, any tips?
