    The big worry would not be a local machine trojan like this one but a server-hub-level switch.

    It only effects people who have the trojan, at least it's not hijacking all Adsense. It probably won't effect 0.01% of people so Google shouldn't be too worried.

    I doubt Google can do a think since the change is made by a client software after the html is generated.

    The only people losing out are Google and possibly Adsense users if Google has to slightly increase their commission to cover the expense.

    But really, as I said the percentage of people effected would be under 0.01%.
