What if the article writing job turns sour?

I'm writing as a buyer and I recently appointed a so-call writer group from DP forum. At first, everything looks cool and professional - so there you go, 10 articles writing job appointed for the writers. However, instead of some real human-written articles as promised, I recieved bunch of cr*ps that's clearly auto generated - and they can't be used totally.

What do you do if you're in this case? Will you still pay the money as promised?

P/S: And yeah, I have to emphasize that the writer is one of the active members here. :(

I write for several clients, some of them from DP and if an article isn't up to their standards, I do offer a revision. Surely the writer or company that you ordered from offers the same satisfaction guarantee that most writers do. Have you contacted them and asked them to do a re-write?

Call them on it and demand higher quality. Don't pay them until they are good enough, the worst that they can do is give you a negative itrader.

    ^Word up!

I write for a lot of clients myself and personally know how important it is to offer a satisfaction guarantee. And although I'm not naive enough to offer unlimited rewrites (which could translate into months of ridiculous rephrasing), I always like to make sure my clients are satisfied. Of course this implies that it's your duty as the buyer to compensate for your provider's time and energy but shoving auto-generated content in your face is what I like to call a con job.

If these people can't provide satisfactory material in the end, then just don't pay them. A single -ve iTrader won't do much damage as long as you're a responsible dealer yourself.

    Cheers

Are you 100% positive it's auto-generated? If it is, then demand completely new articles (if auto-generated, they're quite likely illegal rewrites of articles the group didn't own the copyright to anyway). If there's a chance that they're simply poor writers (terrible English writing skills, exposed in other posts for simply offering rewritten work, etc.), I'd say just be more careful next time. Don't hire a writer without seeing samples (as relevant as possible), and without checking their referrals if they have them (or even just iTrader). Maybe you really were scammed. Maybe you just ran into a learning experience. Either way, sorry to hear that it happened to you.

I assume that you wanted unique human written content and at least that should have been implied if not stated in your emails, ‘hand written' is simply not the same as generated content and you should request they do the work again if not and you are sure its not origional you should not pay them
