$150 Graphic Design Contest - police harassment

Hey, thanks for the insult.
(cough... no taste ...cough)

 

OK - here's a curvy'er design. I may have to remove the bottom curvy to make it fluid...but if you are a whiz at slicing you may be able to pull it off as is.

made a modification to the header so you can actually stretch the light blue bkg and keep the police officer on the right


...this reminded me of why I hate creating fluid sites....

I like your designs. Well-done. I don't particularly like dark designs, but if that header goes into a bright general design, I think it can be nice.

 

Sorry for the various color schemes, but these ones are the ones I particularly liked. I also made it brighter and smaller.

No Taste? Its his site, its your job to satisfy him. When a client has specific needs, you should try to please him. There was no insult, just his opinion and critique on your work. If you treat all potential clients that way, you wont make it very far.

I can modify anything on this layout very easily and quickly. If you don't like the header and would prefer a photograph style or something of that nature I can do that easily. I realize the ad part with the blurry photo can't be stretched, I'm working on a much better replacement, but would like to hear back from you first. Also, is this even a contender against kristee's or are you pretty much already decided?

If you want a specific design for this header please tell me, I'd be happy to design the navigation the way you want it. But I have come up with this:

 

I like this one more.

But I don't like the full page design (its very too simple).

Also, can you show me how this header can be implemented for a fluid design?
