I believe he is endorsing Romney.

But I don't think his supporters will be going that way.

I've read more than one article that looks like some might be going RP's way. It's not a ton of support, but hell .05% even if .05% ;)

Now we need all his followers to head on over to the Ron Paul website and read more about him and his stance on the issues

I'm very surprised he endorsed Romney. I could have seen Thompson, but not Romney.

There was some speculation that it might be Thompson, but he's broke, and since Tancredo has surrendered his seat in the House, I imagine he is trying to attach his cart to a horse with a head of steam, perhaps with some later benefit to himself.

I have a hard time believing that Romney is very principled when it comes to immigration. Not as principled as Duncan Hunter, Ron Paul or Tancredo himself.

I've been following the Illegal immigration crowd for a day or so now, and the sentiment seems to be that only Tancredo, Hunter and Paul are principled.

I think the Paul campaign will pick up more than their share when Tancredo and Hunter drop out. Tancredo did have between 2~6% in Iowa. I'd be happy picking up another 2% of that vote.

Romney does not come across as the most principled or as sincere. I've got all my bets on Ron Paul.

Romney strikes me as the consumate politician who would barter position in his administration for an endorsement regardless of agreements or disagreements on policy. But, hey, that's like, just my opinion man.

So Tancredo basically said that the Iraq War stance was the deal breaker for his endorsement. Fair enough, I suppose, simple case of agreeing to disagree.

Tancredo didn't start out at bombing Mecca (yes, he said this) he was actually for withdrawal in the beginning, but I think he wanted to bring the immigration issue to the party base, so he had to play the war hawk.

I don't think his endorsement will mean much, from what I have been reading, few of his supporters trust or like Romney. I'm sure the Paulunteers will pick up several of them.

I guess all the nuts supporting Flip Flop Huck is a reason not to vote for him as well.

Ahh but people did hear of this one, he was at debates. Was he in the front?
Of course not, he however is a bit different than the guy nobody heard of getting .0000001% of the votes in his home state.

Tancredo was at 6% in Iowa, and polling at least 2% in many other states.

His dropping out is a significant narrowing of the field.

RP polls much higher, not sure what your point is to be honest.

Huck didn't poll very well until recently

My point is, not many people have heard of him either.. And he actually polls right around the same or lower 5% in any poll I have seen...

True, and many never heard of him either... I never gave him a second look until recently.

Hell, how many heard of Romney before he ran?
