The Proxy Discussion Thread

Which do you guys find more effective for submitting to, groups or topsites? And where can I find a good list of either such sites to submit to?

 

lol, so true. Cheap hosting sucks. Maybe try a VPS for a bit, but I suggest Just jumping right into dedicated hosting. I

 

I use cloakhost.com. They are cheap and they certainly don't suck. At least not if you are just getting started.

 

I'm finding wdservers to be very good. set my vps up pretty quick. $29 a month for a VPS.

If you jumped right into a dedicated you'd probably be running in the red for several months.

 

I was in the black after the first month of jumping right into dedicated.

 

Can't seem to find the answer to this ....trying out glype (getting ready to release a theme for glype), however when trying to browse orkut i get this error...
libcurl was built with SSL disabled, https: not supported!

Do I need ssl on this site

 

Bad bad day....

... Host goes down. So I need to buy another one.

Then I decide to set up new themes with glype and the guy who has done it (Cobra or some...) has done a pretty hasty job on the ones I liked... so I try to fix them - no luck.

Finally after 3 hours of messing around(wondering when I can get around to touching meself) and feeling like pulling my hair out, I've decided to go with the default glype theme on all 6 that I installed today

i think to use glype for a new proxy but is hard to modify the template, is so complicated ... glype released today the 0.5 ? i downloaded the 0.5

Lol, I just finished working with 0.5 and its just what i wanted. If you think 0.5 is hard to modify, you need to:
1. Take a look at 0.4 with the bloody index.tpl.php
2. Take HTML/CSS lessons.
