I started doing the stumble exchange thing and had my doubts that it would do much but get a few extra unique hits to my sites, but checked my google analytics and noticed that 2 of my sites git a jump from 5 to 10 uniques a day to over 350 a day, and the main source was stumbleupon acording to the stats. So I geuss it does work, for some of the sites anyways.
A page on one of my sites was stumbled today... I got like 80 hits in an hour, then it stopped dead. Not a single one since!
I don't believe that stumble works. One person stumbled my website and i received 800 hits all in one hour and thats it no more hits from that day and hour onwards. There must be some software glitch with stumble service or are they deliberately/dubiously generating hits for sites to increase their popularity.
It depends on who and how many ppl stumbled your pages. I got one page that was firts stumbled months ago and still getting hits up until now (though it's much much less than it was months ago). Also, it does increase your backlinks.
Stumble upon users will not result in any real form of revenue. They are just there to jump up your stats.
Which is good for what exactly other than driving up your bandwidth costs or bragging that you get x number of hits a day? People forget that unless that traffic converts to cash it is useless-
Does anyone else here use piqq.us? Its the old diggboss... but you can get Stumble traffic. If you need an invite reply here or send me a PM.
