This was the most ignorant post I've ever seen.

PPC is a great option - if you know what you're doing. But saying SEO is a crap method - you should be slapped for that. When i started internet marketing, i didn't want to spend any money because i needed it to pay for loans, food, all that crap. So i started investing time instead of money.

You didn't want to spend any time doing all the work, so you decided to put your money to the test.

Both ways work out well in the end - however, you're still spending money. [i'm just chillin :D] - everything i get is profit. So in the beginning i have a crap method. But when i'm bringing in MORE traffic, that turns into PURE profit....SEO isn't really a crap method anymore is it?

People don't make money online, because if everybody did make money online then it wouldn't exist anymore. People fail doing PPC, people fail doing SEO, there are people who fail @ every aspect of life....that's just the nature.

True SEO - can get you sales the next day if you know what you're doing. - So it doesn't take that much time does it

    Calm down kid.

*blink blink* Oh my, expertforumguy. Somebody hand me a tissue.

Want me to say that SEO is a crap method again?

Okay, here goes...SEO is a crap method. :D

Slap me, big boy, slap me. Me love you long time.

Actually, it isn't 100% crap. You got me on that one. But it is overrated.

Don't like to hear that? ... Too bad. :p

"You didn't want to spend any time doing all the work, so you decided to put your money to the test."

Uhhhh, no. You do both. Hello??? But one should use cheap advertsing to bring in TARGETED potential customers to see if the site will even convert.

How many have used DIGG, as an example, but just about all of those visitors aren't really buyers? You want TARGETED visitors. If you can't convert targeted visitors, the site needs tweaking.

It's almost the same with being on page one in the search engines. Most, NOT ALL, users are looking for free shit. Then you have the window shoppers.

"[i'm just chillin ] - everything i get is profit. So in the beginning i have a crap method. But when i'm bringing in MORE traffic, that turns into PURE profit....SEO isn't really a crap method anymore is it?"

Beats me. Are you "chillin"? This is a message board populated by BS slingers, like KUSHI, so maybe you are, maybe you are not. Either way, cousin, I don't care. :D

"People don't make money online, because if everybody did make money online then it wouldn't exist anymore. People fail doing PPC, people fail doing SEO, there are people who fail @ every aspect of life....that's just the nature."

Well, at least we agree on that one. My, it IS going to be a good day!

So...what's your chillin Website? Help Joanne with SEO.

You make yourself sound like a real jerk. SEO is a crap method for those who are crap at SEO. A good craftsman never blames his tools.

Post your Website, give the links to where you are at in the search engines, and give her some pointers on SEO.

She is asking for help, so give it to her.

I don't really do any SEO, I use myspace for marketing. There's tons of stuff on this forum about SEO, so there wouldn't be much point re-posting it here.

Having said that, I'm on the front page for one of my keywords, and have been getting between 2000 and 7000 monthly hits since I launched . But like I said, I use myspace, which is not suitable for most niches.

Its all depends on so many factors its impossible to say.

    But important things.

Ignore hits as they are mostly irrelevant - visits/vistors are the important figure to look at.

As for sales, it depends on what you sell, my site usually brings in 30-50 visitors a day. This is quite low yet the site generates over $400 a month. Yet smart page rank only rates my site at $159! lol

It takes time, depends on what genre your site is. Try advertising it in large forums.
