I totally agree with you buddy, the US is way way more powerful than Iran but it's the knock-on effect that will make it the biggest disaster in recent history.

The US Administration has already fucked up 2 countries under Bush's tenure, the world doesn't want to see them fuck a 3rd one up mate.

 

I don't think Russia will participate in the active war, neither will China or India.
Russia is smart enough to make the profit from the war without participating in the war. Putin will just sit back and relax, watching another tidal wave of hate against USA. China sure has interests in Iran but their business interests with US are much larger so they will not go against USA. India will simply stay away from the conflict.
IMHO, The attack will not draw WWIII, it will be limited to Nato and Israel Vs. Iran and possibly Syria.

And for Iran's missile capabilities. Sure they have some damn good shit from Russia, but the every first missile fired from Iran's soil will mark the missile silos for American counter attack.
Do not forget US has an extra ordinary satellite imaging power and some really powerful thermobaric bunker busters. They don't even need to use the nukes. Iran will launch the missiles and US will keep destroying missile silos. (The one that are not identified earlier, the silos already identified would have been destroyed already ofcourse)

What oil? Do you know what Russia is at all? We have plenty of oil, dont need it, perhaps $'s. US still sells waaaaay more weaponry, why not play the same game.
