Subdomains?? what can I do ??

    Hi there...

    I'm wondering how can I optimize my website in order to gain a better place in search engine using Sub domains?

    I mean www.photo.wish71.net (example) how can be useful in order to optimize wish71.net ???

    I'm pretty sure subdomains are treated as entirely separate pages from the top level of the domain, so you should be careful using them to separate and organize content on your page

    Just wondering ... I have changed my hosting provider and they allow practically unlimited sub domains so I was wondering what use of that can I do to promote my website.

    Just like what can said, subdomains are treated as different page by SE's. So maybe you should just do the basic techniques and strategies you could use to optimize and promote your site... :)

    Consider each subdomain as a seperate website. And then go about optimizing each subdomain as you would normally do for a website.

    This is what zeruel and ken are trying to say.

    When using subdomains make sure you link them to your main page so that users enter the main page before diverting to its sub divisions.

    It is true. But there can be two different scenarios

    If the subdomains are of the same niche with the upper level domain, it will be good to create inter linking between different subdomains and this should help for the ranking.

    If they are of different niche. then you have to plan how you will optimize them. Whether you will treat them as all distinct websites and just link them back to the main page, or you will create inter linking between the subdomains.

    Maybe I was not clear....

    My idea was to use the sub domains in order to insert in the domains my key words
    I mean my website url regretfully has not the keywords that I like ... so maybe someting like ..... keyword.domain.net ..... example if I need photo as keyword.... this kind of subdomain like this will nelp ???? photo.wish71.net

    I have not thought to insert link from sub domain to my main domain in order to increase ingoing number of links .... I think will not work at all, will be considered internal link.
