Is there a way to track the traffic (hits, visits referrer etc) by a single peice of code?

I mean suppose i create a project at statcounter and add the same code in all of my blogs. so will i get the combined stats?
In short, is the code of statcounter is domain specific?

Google Analytics allows you to stitch together different websites in a way that comes close to your vision.

They're all accessible under one log-in and via one dashboard, but they're not blended into a single master view.

But, I'd have to believe that your use case, as I understand it, is an exception to the norm. Who would need blended stats from multiple sources?

I would. See I requested it here just the other day. It would help me track traffic on my many proxies together.

I do not want to install code individually on all the blogs.

Google analytics is definitely your best bet. I think this is the best way to go for tracking everything, including multiple websites and offers the most flexibility.

All you have to do is install the Analytics code into your blog's template. And you are done.

IMO, Google Analytics is awesome, one of the best out there.

I mean, I want to insert the code in single template and then upload that template in all my blogs.
