    lol push ups don't show strength at all, a kid at 100 pounds could do 100 push ups as long as he has some meat on his bones its easy. Does that mean he can kick kimbo slices ass. i doubt it. Whats the purpose of having great strength anyway? for looks yes but as far as ass kicking goes i bet a 150 pound guy who had boxing experience could kick your ass if you benched 500 pounds.

    I didn't create this thread for that sorta comparison, I simply wanted to know what all could do according to the scale I found. Its nothing set in stone, obviously someone with boxing experience would put the hurt on someone without any ;)

    I believe the push up bars isolate the pectorals. Regular push ups work pecs/shoulders/tris

    I smell total BS, 140 kg but can't do 15 pushups. Maybe if they are nothing but fat, weighing over 140 kg's themselves, making the 140 kg press not much at all.
    Pushups and benchpress work different muscle groups? Since when?
    There are different forms of pushups, just as there are different forms of benchpress.
    Chest and tri's, lats are some of the key muscles hit.
    Of course like any variation stabalizers or how you hit the muscle can change ;)
    Nope wont call you a pussy, you brought up some good points ;)

    BTW I did 50 real quick, my dog thought I was playing though. Kept hitting me in the face with his paws. Could have hit at least 20-30 more without a doubt, no clue on my max for pushups. Never tried

    that means you body weight is too light.

    try to low you body slowly (at least 2 second) and explode up, clap you hand in mid air, see if you can do 60 again;)

    or try do push up - burpee, do 30 non stop as fast as you can. My condition is really bad,,i can only do 20 in a row
