Anyone having problems with CJ? I got earnings in my account for leads, and 2 days later half of it always disappear.

I truly believe they are not paying affiliates correctly..

    Which advertiser?

Did you read the advertisers fine print? Some of them have certain conditions that must be met to deter ...ermm ... fraud.

CJ has so many bad reviews that I would never consider promoting any of their offers. Are you with any other networks?

I don't know if CJ is stealing money or in my case, eBay. A friend of mine had never had an account with ebay and he signed up to ebay through my ref. link and bought a car. That was two weeks ago and it credit hasn't registered yet through CJ. I don't really know who is really stealing but I don't trust any anymore.

No, my affiliate link is fine. That same affiliate link has registered some sales from ebay. I won't waste my time anymore with ebay or CJ.

FYI the advertisers pay CJ.. which in turn pays you. So if CJ doesn't get paid, you don't. Its not like CJ it's actually paying you, they are the middle man.

Yep, thefreebielife is correct. CJ can only pay when paid.

I had a similar issue with LinkShare, and the problem turned out to be the advertiser (not paying)

It is possible that they didn't click it at all, or that they have enough spy blockers or their security such that it prevented the cookie from being set in the first place.

CJ is not the issue, it's the advertiser. Ebay tracking doesn't always track (sorry to say but it's true and we have proof of such). Still said ebay is very profitable for most affiliates.

On the offers that are for Leads if someone has filled in the form before they may credit you at first then go back and take it away if they company says it is a duplicate lead... Otherwise you could have people just filling in lead forms for you over and over..

If you don't allow 3rd party cookies it wont be set. I've tested it. eBay probably also uses session variables to keep a logged in user logged in for their session on the site. I do on all my sites and do not set a cookie to do so unless the user asks for it.

Hi, What about refunds? Every advertiser has there own refund policy. Maybe the fluctuations in the commissions are because a buyer ask to cancel the transaction.

    Anyway just a thought...

    Why would CJ do that???....

I'm sure they can make money by stealing it from us, but that doesn't make sense..
I'm sure they invest tons of money in advertising their business and want people to know they are professional and reliable. So it would be very stupid of them to try and make more money by stealing it - this would give them a very bad name and they would lose much more than they stole! - they know that.

Also the fact that they are in partnership with ebay, make me believe they are honest even more. Those huge corporations are less likely to steal than small businesses.

A lot of people out their called google adwords and AdSense thieves and liars. But i'm sure they are not! In fact they had to fight and still fight click fraudsters so the system would be more relaible.

As for the 'proofs' people here have, i think computer errors happens all the time. Hell, i can even say - they don't work right more than half the time.

So maybe the cj system has bugs, maybe some of cj employees manipulate the system for there own profit some how. But i doubt CJ founders and managers steal from us deliberately.

About the advertiser not paying the commission - Cj knows when an advertiser get a sale or a lead, aren't they. Imean that's the only reason we use then - cause we trust a 3rd party tracking company more than individual affiliate programs.

CJ can tell how much every advertiser have to pay them so they could pay the affiliates their share.
So i don't really understand why some people here thinks that if they didn't get the commission it's because of the advertiser didn't pay it. CJ should know and claim that money from them or drop them. CJ would lose affiliate if they control and track the funds they and us earn!

I think the lost commissions and computer errors, and maybe inside people in the system but not CJ or the advertisers!

    That's my opinion anyway...

CJ is the best at what they do. If you have a problem with an advertisers I would just stop using them. There are plenty to choose from. I don't like new advertisers and tend to only pick the higher performing niche so that may be why I have never had a problem getting paid or having commission disappear.

    Good luck

CJ isn't stealing any money. I work with a number of merchants on CJ (working on the advertiser side), and the numbers on the backends match the numbers in CJ. I'm also a 5 earnings bar publisher. CJ isn't screwing anybody.

I agree. Also, in the two years that I've been doing this, and with more than 120,000 ebay sales during that time, I've only had one sale get reversed because the seller's credit card got rejected at the end of the month. That is a pretty good track record.
