how much does a DMOZ listing add to a domain value?

    So, "hypothetical" question:

Ive just bought a new domain, its only 1 year old, its got DMOZ listing under a printing/printers/printer cartridges/printer repair section (Im not being specific here as this is ofcourse a "hypothetical situation"!).

The site is also a GOOD two word hyphenated .com related to the subject matter above, but is undeveloped.

what do you think it would be worth just given the strength that its already DMOZ listed?

Im considering flipping it, or developing it.........

I would develop it to add to it's price. And it would add on at least 30 dollars to it's value (assuming it's a good short domain).

I probably will develop it (I have done with 5 or 6 others in the last few months) but the question still remains, what does a DMOZ listing add to the value of a domain?

There are quite a few DMOZ domain up for sale on the site, it is hard to say because a domain is only worth what someone will pay for it. I would pay at least $100 to get one of my sites listed in DMOZ. But if I'm buying one it would only be a consideration, put it this way if swfdsgdfgsdfsg.com was listed on a PR0 DMOZ page It still wouldn't be worth the registation fee.

    Yep I hear ya....

.... Im going to develop it anyway methinks, rather than just the quick flip... Ive done quite well on my other two projects like this in the last few weeks.

    thanks for the brainstorming help!
