    Hey guys:

One of my main competitors is doing the following:

if you go here: www.7cartas.com it will take you here: www.miapuesta.com

    (miapuesta) is the competitor.....

they have domains redirecting like this for the thousands......

first of all, what is this called?

is this illegal? if so, how can i complain to google? as this sort of thing obviously helps their serp....

if its not illegal....this must cost a bundle right? not only in domain paurchasing but in hosting?....

isnt this duplicate content banned from google??

pfft well if they're redirecting they don't need server hosting...they just need to buy the domain. And of course it's not illegal, it's breaking no laws at all...what is it, false advertising or sumthing?

Plus if google doesn't allow it then complain to google...if it's against they're TOS they'll remove the submission.

It seems you are in an industry (gambling) which endorses the use of black hat techniques, so even if you complain and get this one removed, you'll still have thousands (if not millions) more to conquer.

    Good luck ...Google Police!

It's blackhat SEO, but its not illegal -- not illegal by any stretch of the word...it may be unethical in some people perspective, but definitely not illegal. It is also against Google TOS so you can complain, but like I said you complain and get the site removed, you still will have more competitors who practice black hat techniques and you can get all of them removed! At least not in your industry (gambling)!
