I created my first landing page for a CPA(e-mail submit). I run a campaign in adwords with 59 keywords. This is the ad copy Your Chance to Win PS3 You are right we are giving away PS3's this holiday season Code (markup): my CTR is 0.17% with 5,792 impressions. 10 clicks coming from search network only. I had one conversion but I am not complaining about it.. But after that all keywords have become inactive and ask me to increase bid or improve quality. All keywords are related to playstation or ps3 and the site is related to ps3 as well.
Just add more keywords and increase the bid price.. make the keywords more targeted....to Ad...group tightly..
That doesn't matter. sem-consultant, I doubt that will help. It's a data collection site. Google's flat out said those sites will get a poor quality score.
Perform A/B testing of Ads for increasing the CTR... this can be done by creating different Ads with some small changes ... Increase bids to make the keywords active... If you have placed keywords, ads in adgroups which have been paused for long time or have accrued bad history in the past then that might be the reason
Or it could be that it's a been labeled a data collection site... You try all kinds of tests and invest lots of time trying to make it work but if it's been labeled as a data collection site you're just wasting your time. Odds are it will never be cost effective.
yea.. I also read Google is against these type of sites/offers.. Do Yahoo have something quality checks like google has ??
I don't think they have flat out said a certain type of site will have to pay more (ie lo qs) like Google did.
Other than the fact the site is a tough sell to Adwords quality score, most email submit offers I've seen pay $1.50 max. That doesn't leave you with much to work with for a PPC budget.
