I need to better understand my traffic statistics

    Hi,

I am a Joe Bucks affiliate promoting (9) of its branded websites. http://dietea4u.com/ being one from the lot.

Using the following keyphrase [green tea diet] my website http://dietea4u.com/ sits at the top position with google, and that for the last two months.

78.5 % of my November clicks [1746] originated from Google. Yet, not a single sale was ever recorded:confused:. Is there a service that would help me do a better reading and interpretation of my traffic statistics ?

    Regards,
    Paul Rodgers

Try using statcounter and google analytics at the same time... You can put it in your site and it will display your webstats...

My web hosting service provides me with complete, professional traffic statistics. I use google analytics. I already have access to tons of traffic statistics. I want to learn to read them properly.
    Thanks

why not try using the google analytics and statcounter. It will help analyze and interpret the site traffic statistics and even the sale conversion.

Wow that is way out of wack.. at least 150-1 would be a safe number but you may try to see what country they are coming form with the Google analytics.

You got to find out were those opportunity's are coming form and redirect to a market that has some sort of spending ideas.

Good luck and define that traffic and you have it made.

    Hi,

My targeted countries iare the USA and Canada. And, I am on target as a shart shooter with an accuracy rate above 90%... England being next and far behind.

PS: I have taken and apply suggestion that I learn more about Statcounter. I have it running and seem ready to answer my interrogations. Thanks to you all, my first visit turns out to be a golden one.

Google's Analytics is definately up there with the best.

I would recommend using them. Take your time read the help files and learn more how to read the stats, there is a wealth of information there. Also look out for google seminars which are some times held in some of the big countries.

I use my own Google's analytics code,. It rides along Joe Bucks' own google's analytics code which I am forbidden to touch...
Two Google analytics codes running side by side makes any sense ?

I use Google analytics on my sites along with Clicktale (third link in sig) which gives you an actual video of what your visitors are actually viewing/clicking etc.
