Advertiser is not paying...

    Hi All

I'm having problems with one of my advertisers on CJ.

This advertiser's commissions were all locked on the 10th but haven't moved to the current balance section.

All my other advertisers have already moved all their commissions (around $8000 in total.)

This advertiser owes me almost $2000.

I guess the problem is this advertiser hasn't got enough funds in his account to pay up.

When I looked at CJ FAQ it says that they are not responisble for it and that once the affiliate add some money to his account these commissions will move to the current balance section.

Tried contacting the advertiser but no response.

Any ideas what can i do about it? It's quite a lot of money.

    Thanks in advance.

Which advertiser is it, and are you sure that the problem is with a low balance in the advertiser's account? Call CJ to see why it is held up, they should be able to tell you.

Which advertiser? You can name names. Might have others with the same issue.

Hoping you will be able to resolve this soon. I am new to all these affiliates stuffs and learning a lot from this forum. These stories are lessons to us to carefully choose which advertisesrs to shoose. But it would be good if you could give us any ideas at all. If it's ok with you :)

Well, I got a reply from the advertiser (finally).

They claim they had problems with their, and i quote "inner billing system" and that i will get paid in the next billing cycle.

It is not a satisfying answer but there's nothing much i can do about it.

CJ were alright and replied to my emails quickly (matter of hours).

What I find hard to understand is the fact that CJ is not responsible for advertisers that are not paying up. what happens if an affiliate invest $$$ in PPC and doesn't get paid at the end?

i think this is most awkward and disgusting answer from CJ that they are not responsible... for this...

then why are they allowing an advertiser to market through them... as this is against fair business policy...
