    Hey guys

    Quick questions....

Are gambling related keywords also banned from google just like adsense?

If not, does anyone have any experience with this? does it work well??

You're not allowed to promote online gambling-related websites on Adwords. You can only advertise real, land-based casinos and gambling events. I can't stand this policy, as I, too, have a gambling website!

Are you sure about that Masterful?
I thought it was just that you couldn't promote to USA/Canada because it was illegal there?

Can we get any clarification on this?

Been told off by Google for promoting a gaming website, my adverts were declined after a few weeks. During those weeks I made a tidy amount of cash promoting free bets for new accounts in the UK. I stopped because I was worried about a ban and didn’t know how easy it would be to set up a new account?

I can confirm 100% you are NOT allowed to promote gaming websites on google, to any country in the world regardless of the legality of it in this market.

I used to spend >$5k per month on it, and have been disallowed, even to advertise free non paid poker etc!!!

At first, that's what I thought, too, but it's not the case. As everyone has made very clear, you cannot use Adwords to promote online gambling in any country. However, you can use it to promote real, land-based casinos and gambling events.

MOG is right , google's rule says that you cannot promote websites with link\links to gambling websites
and you cannot have a link that links to a website with gambling links , which means you can have poker content
with no links to gambling related websites .

Haha, wish I knew that before I forked out 50 bucks for a custom landing page!
So none of the advertising networks (the big 3) allow promotions of this kind?
If not what are the alternatives people know of in regards to getting traffic to these sites without SEO?
