Before the post i want to ask something, does CPM means that i'll get paid for 1'000 impressions? My question is, how can i make my site profits from CPM? And how much $ is 1'000 impressions on the average? My site is about a month old and have about 1'000 impressions a day and 50+ unique visitors and every day atleast 20%+ increase in these numbers. Sorry for my bad english i havent practiced in a while.
depends on what? is there options in google where i can change so that i would make profits from impressions
cpm doesnt always seem as profitable as cpc. Although for certain types of sites where the cpc is uber-low, its worth giving a try.
What do you mean? My site is about mobile technology? Its non-english site, that have forum, and custom cms with tutorials and non-commercial files. In my country there arent many users, and people dont click ads very often.
There is nothing special about CPM vs. all the other kinds of advertising. If you really want to make some money, you need to use all the different types of advertising that are available to you. Diversify your ad portfolio so that you aren't dependent on one thing or one network. Honestly though, with only 1000 impressions per day you aren't going to make much from CPM advertising. You aren't going to qualify for the top tier networks which pay higher rates, and so you might be lucky to get $0.25 CPM (if that) and then some networks are going to limit the number of impressions per unique, so you might not make more than $1/week. With that volume of traffic, you might want to try affiliates and CPA ads. Those types of ads can pay a very high rate and so a low volume can produce more money... assuming they are very targeted.
I totally agree with your very comprehensive explanation here convergent...CPM by essence truly gives you nothing more than what you can earn out of maximizing your ad portfolio. Give it a kick and blast all that avaialble advertising schemes to you and you will not thing of CPM anymore. Another thing is that you can target U.S. market so you don't have to worry about your country where you said no one hardly clicks on your ads.
its a 1000 impressions per ad, not ALL the ads combined - my forum gets nearly 10k impressions a day and i barely make a $1 off that lol
what do you mean "target U.S. market"? Make my website in english? Im planning on making a script, if user is from my country then it will be my language, and if its from another country will be in english. "$0.25 CPM" what does that mean, that ill gain 0.25$ from 1'000 impressions?
