Is Chuck Norris Getting Paid To Endorse Huckabee?

I find it interesting because of Chuck's campaign not too long ago to get private karate schools to use his name on their schools in return for a set fee (I know somebody that turned him down flat and his school is doing great, and now looking like the best decision he ever made lol). I feel sorry for any of those schools that got suckered in and now will have to deal with having his (now political) name on them under contract :(. Seems pretty messed up on his part to get into politics after that. I always thought Chuck Norris was cool too (maybe 'cause of that movie with the asthmatic kid), until he started trying put his name on everything.

So is Chuck getting paid by Huck?

Seems pretty fishy to me. A sneaky way to make Huckabee more appealing to home schoolers, since a lot of home schoolers are into karate/self-defense?

I'm still not sure what Huckabee has to do with home schooling anyway.

Maybe G-Tech can educate me on this one.

If anyone would know then it's our GT.

After all he is all over Huck at the moment until Huck fails, then he'll flip flop again to another candidate. :p

many celebrities get paid to endorse candidates...you know Oprah is getting something from the obama campaign...whether it is free hotel rooms, meals, whatever, they can write it off as a campaign expense.

I'm starting to wonder now if Chuck's karate school ad campaign didn't go so well, and now maybe he is just trying to get on tv any way possible so he can be in another movie or something. Desperation has a distinct smell to it, and it seems to me that it's coming from both of them.

I think people forget that Chuck Norris is a staunch Republican. Whether he's paid or not has no relevance. It's common nowadays as d16man pointed out.

No. I wonder why a ron paul supporter would start such a thread?

Is Don Black or David Duke getting paid to endorse Ron Paul?

If something smells fishy, it's usually because there is an odor nearby.

Such a thread? I was curious if that really happens. As I've stated before, I don't know that much about politics. I'm more disgusted with Chuck Norris (because he used to be a sort of hero to me) then I am with Huckabee. Maybe you are getting a little defensive, but do you know how to explain the link to home schooling? I think I'm more curious about that now.

If paid endorsements are common, then no big deal on Huck's part.

Maybe I was a bit too harsh in they way I asked the question.

It can very easily raise counter questions, as illustrated. There's no reason to be disgusted with Chuck Norris or Ric Flair. If my candidate took money from white supremacist groups, then didn't give it back after knowing such, I'd be disgusted. I guess we all have our own standards of acceptability.

Oooooh... just looked at that link to vagisil. Is that supposed to be some kind of veiled insult on my girlfriend who you've never spoken to or met?

I'll give you a chance to explain before I get really upset. Possibly I'm the one getting defensive... I hope.

:D I figured you would turn this into a Huckabee (not his supporters) vs. RP's supporters. Can't compare supporters vs. supporters, or candidates vs. candidates can you? Have to cross compare to keep the misinformation up? Partly why I asked you to explain. And you've done a wonderful job.

Hmm well who's more famous Huckabee or Norris. I think Mr. Norris made a good PR move regardless.

Thank you. Of course, I didn't start a thread asking if David Duke is getting paid to endorse Ron Paul. A "supporter" of ron paul, like Chuck is of Huckabee. If you have feelings of guilt for all the neonazi, white supremacy, anti-semitetic, 9/11 troofer, anarchy support your candidate receives, I'd be happy to welcome you to a better candidate ;)

Why don't you explain a little more? I'm kind of dense when it comes to passive aggressive insults.

Good for you. You're far more educated on politics and you are a far better Christian then me (I don't want to be), and you have completely refrained from dirty politics.

Actually I'm proud of the fact that I'm able to get along with people of all types of beliefs, and I was home schooled and isolated from society most of my life! The only ones I can't seem to get along with are neocons.

I doubt it. Maybe if he had endorsed the candidate who is going to win, then yes. I think it's going to come back to bite him.

    Name just one.

Your claim is laughable. First of all, Oprah does not need a free hotel room, meal, or other freebies, she has plenty of her own money.

Second, what makes you think any person who is endorsing a candidate is doing it for a fee? That is contrary to the point of an endorsement.

Please show us any celebrity who has been paid by a political candidate for an endorsement. I don't think you can show us a single one that is not pure speculation on your part.

Solution because neocons love to enforce their way deceptively on people through the sword and at the same time make themselves to be the protectors of our freedom when in fact they are nothing of teh sort( quite the opposite in fact). As far as david duke, RP didnt ask for his support especially since RP is against racism of any kind. Its so easy to debate on RP's side because when u have the truth its hard to falter on it. unlike obama RP wont kiss butt to any oprah or any other powerful entity because he isnt begging for any of their endorsements. He has the support of the common everyday working american. Remember them gtech:).
