image hosting business problem

Hello!
I have been facing a problem with my image hosting website (vJPG.com) .. specially after adsense blocked my domain because of porn images reported to them (even though i have TOS that restrict uploading porn)

right now iam running adbrite on vJPG.com .. but unfortunately the daily income is 7 cents which cannot cover the hosting fees ($90/month).

Could you advice me about what should i do now in order to fix the current situation please ?

 

Change AdSense for something else, affiliate hosting programs etc.

I have a big image hosting site in poland, and the costs are killing me

 

what are the best alternatives for adsense then ?
adbrite isn't doing good at all.

How many page views per day have you got?

 

$90/month you're paying too much for hosting, are you in dedicated.? Use adbrite in place.

 

running an image host is very hard, i have to make 15$ a day to pay for my hosting costs. lucky i make a bit more then that of just adbrite.

like the other poster said it might be worth checking out affiliate offers for your front page and if your images are categorized maybe more affiliate offers near the images ?

Have you thought about getting a server in a different European country?

 

I think he has exposed a potential business area though: cheaper hosting in poland

 

But why host in Poland? France, Germany, Netherlands => fast + cheap (for EU citizens, but that is no different than Poland ofcourse)

 

My friend own server4you.de server4you.com etc... But I must have quick transfer for Poland, because other image hosters are much slower

 

Also the ones elsewhere in Europe? Because I usually don't notice that (except if they lie about dedicated lines, which most do; the annoying 'shared use')

 

how do you manage to pay the bill's i would go broke with hosting fee's that big even if my site was 10times the size that it is now.

 

Well you never know what truth is telling you others. I usually don't trust a single sentence from members with low posts, I am sorry but that is my personal view.

What monthly bandwidth/hits are you pushing? Image hosting is expensive in terms of bandwidth fees, unless you run your shop very carefully.

 

ala101, find a replacement from AdSense that is as good. Maybe try Yahoo, then try and find cheaper hosting. I am sure you will find a cheaoer hosting, which is the same quality here at DigitalPoint.

and here are adbrite stats for the last 7 days :

I have a deal with my friend I pay him when the site becomes more popular now it's about 10k unique per day, becouse the site works in 30%

I'm not a noob, I'm new on this forum.
I'm have a plan for my image hosting, to become more profitable. When the script will be 100% ready i sell APIs for other sites, for image hosting. Because it's very expensive in Poland.

 

After 45 days, replace the hosted images with "want to advertise here ?" ads & sell the space the hosted images occupy.

 

I believe the issue in Poland is high bandwidth cost. That issue is hard to address unless your Level 3 or purchase large amounts of bandwidth.

 

First Thing You Must do is to change your Host to cheaper Host go to Hosting forum in buy sell or trade section you will find a lot of offers
for getting more money via your Image host upload images to your site and post it in american forums
