   But the masked urls are not affiliate links, just direct links to web pages. Or does it means masked urls are not allowed anymore?

   yea, the FAQs said no masked url, if you see someone used tinyurl, report him to mod

   Affiliate links, links with a referral ID, and masked links all fall under umbrella heading of affiliate links. Staff does not have the time to check each masked link appearing on the forum.
