Gauharjk, the Journal of Historical Review (part of the Institute for Historical Review) is a ridiculous attempt to cloak holocaust denial in the language of academia. It is pseudoscholarship personified - in one particularly laughable gaffe, the IHR illegally gained the mailing list of the Organization of American Historians, who commissioned a study into the IHR's revisionist claims. The OAH roundly dismissed Weber's views as nothing "but a masquerade of scholarship." Having been slammed regularly in court trials (including the IHR's infamous "contest" offering $50,000 to anyone who could prove the holocaust ever happened - with the IHR being handed its proverbial shorts), and the court of scholarly opinion, the IHR is now defunct, as I understand it, although Weber and his cronies still seek out profitable alliance with neo-Nazi groups and other extremist organizations, such as the National Alliance.
You're saying the website is a fake, and the information in there as well. Well, the article talked about association of Zionists in Germany with the SS and Socialist Party. It even quoted from newspapers of that time. It sounded genuine to me.
The evidence is there to review, Gauharjk. I am not saying anything other than what has been widely known for some time about Weber and this organization. He is rabidly anti-Jewish, attempting to merely cloak himself in the language of respectable scholarship. Again, with all the trappings of scholarship - including a lengthy bibliography, it would take considerable time to investigate whether he is properly sourcing, and citing, original sources or whether he is, like everything else he has pursued in the IHR, merely pursuing a neo-nazi agenda and cloaking it with an air of scholarly authority. Commonsensically, I will say I don't doubt there was some confluence of opinion between Hitler and zionist ambitions - they hated each other, Jewish organizations (zionist and otherwise) lived in stark dread of the darkness coming ahead, and with the first whiff of Nazi policy towards the Jewish minority in Germany, and the clear blueprint in store for genocidal destruction laid out in Mein Kampf, there was no accommodation of Jews to Hitler's regime. His policies came on fast, unrelentingly, and without quarter, and the rest of the western world turned its back (google the story of the SS St. Louis, for a shameful example). From this comfortable armchair vantage point of 70 years (and a relative paradise apart) later, I'd have been looking for a way out myself. Guru, your contribution to this thread is every bit why I wrote the post you see above, in the other thread. This thread is about a guy who has been outed as a fraud, with a known neo-nazi agenda in his mind driving his pseudoscholarship. We all do things like your post above, from time to time - myself included, god knows - but what possible purpose can your post here serve? How is that contributing to a dialogue? If you think Mark Weber is the brightest mind since Jefferson and his revisionism is the bee's knees in historical research, why not say so, and back it up?
