Yeah...the email talked about protecting advertisers etc...which is fair enough. I don't want to know who they are....I don't really care...I just hope they reply to my email and let me know which site is causing this problem.
I doubt it, didn't you read the e-mail? See below: How can they expect you to understand their actions when they don't provide any information about activity? How is letting you know what sites were affected leaking information about "proprietary detection systems"? Can't provide a single shred of information? I don't get it.......not sure I believe it's valid. Then again, I admit a complete lack of knowledge. Just find it hard to believe. -boxer126
Surely someone else has had this email before if it is valid? Think of how many members have been crying out over being banned from adsense.
WELL , for one ADSENSE . allowes you to add 150 url channels I would suggest adding the TOP 150 sites that you think are getting the most traffic Then wait 24 hours and you will see which one is getting all the clicks....... Just my idea ...........
I don't think its a real google email. It looks to me you'll receive another email suggesting the third-party software. Very decent spammer.
Yea tru......finding another way to make the lost revenue up when you get banned from adsense will be much easier ....you're right.... Come on Col.....Hire someone here to do it for you for like $10 bux or something Adsense has that "allow access" feature btw..... Dude, if you get banned you will wish you listened Do me a favor and go read some of those "help , I have been banned " threads and hear the pain in there voices as the text silently screams "help me" Go hire someone for ten bux and save your account
I don't think it's from Google, because in the United States (where Google is located), we do not spell the word "programs" as "programmes", as was done repeatedly in the email. A legally-worded email like that would have been proofread if it had actually come from Google. EDIT: Hmm... I notice the links contain en-GB as the language... so perhaps it was legitimate...
I agree with Sundaybrew, you were lucky to get a warning so i would make the most of it because alot of people don't even get that luxury. I'd rather pull the ads off every site and loose a day or two revenue until i got it sorted rather than compromise the chance of using Adsense.

Personally I think it's fake as they use the word progamme while AdSense is American and it should be program. I Googled google programme policies and could not find any results where it's spelt programme. Further more; if you Google any of the paragraphs in the email surrounded by quotes such as this one only one site comes up, guess one person got the same email. I think if it was real there would be hundreds of those results.
May be its a fake mail, but why take chance? first add some tracker like statcounter (yes, adsense accepts this) and make a log of incoming traffic. Then use the form (Invalid Clicks Contact or Invalid Clicks Appeal) to contact adsense team attaching that email.
I read from many adsense users that G doesn't send warning emails but exercise sudden ban on its users. Chances are that email is not from G.
What I would do in this situation: 1) Contact them at about the warning. 2) Verify the SenderID that is in the email headers (If it is not verified; it is an anonymous email.) 3) Check the Adsense stats and see if there is an abnormal activity.
You can try asrep.com for click tracking software. Their premium version allows for fraud detections and the like.
