Adsense in December??

For those of you that have been with the adsense program for 3 or more years can you share how the month of December has been. How is adsense during Christmas?

Comparing it to any other month how would you rate the month of December?

Earnings up or down?

Holidays season tends for a better adsense and sales income

 

How come our earnings are going down then?

 

Sales up adsense ok. Had to filter more sites to get earnings up.

 

May be because of the niche you are running sites on. If you have a site on christmas shopping wont you expect a better revenue this season?

 

Ahh, but you said "holiday season tends for better adsense and sales income" - so basically you're ruling out the other niches, yes?

 

I just hope my adsense earnings pick up for me to have enough money for xmas.

 

In my few years of experience, during the holiday season there is less traffic, advertisers are tight on year-end budgets and not bidding high prices for Adwords ads if they are bidding at all, Google's ad inventory is down, and Adsense earnings are down as a result.

Of course, holiday related traffic and ads may be up at this time of year, but if your site is not directly related to the holidays, you'll experience the dreaded holiday slowdown. But don't worry, it picks back up again in mid or late January.

 

Because you may not be targeting shopping niches.

Adsense in December ROCKS! is the word got up and traffic coming good

I love December

 

Holiday is good, but It will move down at the end of december.

 

December is a nightmare for me, I am waiting for a brand new year

 

I am having a terrible month. I hope things start to pick up by January.

 

all most since last 5-6 Years adsense Rocks since i have many of the websites running specially on X'mas theme ..along with other websites.

my account is not that much old! 1-2 years

 

Since about Thanksgiving my main site's adsense has dramatically improved about 3X normal click value. It will probably drop after the Super Bowl but I'm loving it right now

 

It still sux and as the holidays are approaching it seems the CPC is down the hill.
