Hi.. My cj statistics shows that i've had two leads, but I have only been credited with $25.. Why is that? And what is the difference between impressions and clicks? And last, in order to get a new acru, do the new user need to place a winning bid, or just a bid?
2 leads, but on credited.. that's because two people have signed up to eBay from your site, and one actually bought something within 30 days. You can still get credit for the other lead if they do something in the allowed time of the cookie. Impressions is the number of views your ad had. eBay doesn't track views with any of their affiliate codes (editor kit, flex dest tool, etc), so you probably see '0' for those. Clicks are obviously the number of times your ad or product was clicked. I believe they need to be winning bidder on something. hanji
Ok. Though, yesterday I had 76 impressions but only 21 clicks.. What does this really mean? I have cj ads for hostgator and another company on my store... How many clicks have I've had for my ads, and how many for ebay products?
You'll need to generate performance reports at CJ to see the breakdown on the clicks. As I said, impressions are the amount of views and clicks are clicks. For example.. if you had only 1 Hostgator ad on your site.. and 100 people came to the site, viewed the page and then left (but 2 clicked the hostgator ad).. you would have 100 impressions and 2 clicks. hanji
Ok. I get it.. That means my ads sort of work like a counter on how many have visted my site (where the ads are), right? Though if you have several ads you would have to split the number of impression on the number of ads..
