Hi guys, Can someone tell me which is the right time to submit the xml sitemap in Google. Before doing SEO or after. Regards,
After. I would add site to search engines like yahoo and others not google and make sure site has all pages finished before i submit to google site map
Well I think you can submit your sitemap after you have done with your site. and later you can work on SEO step by step. Becuase your domain age and pages in Google counts. so better if you submit your sitemap to Google and Yahoo if you have atleast 20-30 pages with content. Regards,
Okay, but is it advisable to submit first once the site is ready and then again resubmit it when you are done with your seo process? Regards,
Your site must not be underconstruction or I should say you must finished your site first... Then after that you can create and submit your sitemap... After you made some updates or changes on your site you must create and resubmit your sitemap...
Finish your first draft of the site. Then submit your sitemap. Then add content and upgrade your sitemap EVERYDAY. Google uses sitemap to look for changes in your site. If your sitemap is stagnent, then it will read it less often. If you sitemap has constant changes from new content, you will get indexed more often. Sitemap should never be your only way out to the would. Use social bookmarking sites, directories, blogs, etc. Sitemap is a good complement, but not an end all.
If you submit one site map saying that you add content everyday and then actually do that. You won't need to submit it again.
I my opinion you should submit your XML sitemap to search engines after you have done with your SEO work (first time). Rest you do your SEO work side by side. Invite robots when you have something good for them, it will increase your website value at first sight.
That is a good and important question! You have to submit your sitemap.xml before you optimize your site and it should be once a month!
Well, I guess it doesn't matter when you submit your sitemap to google. It only helps google to crawl your site better.
