It was not paid. I send a press release to a news site. The site itself was not terribly related, but the article was.
I'm confused though. How come on massive sites like digg, and youtube if you post a back link to your site, you don't notice much difference at all? Or has google made it so back links on these sites do nothing at all?

Mário I find it surprising that a blogspot blog has a pr8. I just checked your blog PR and it is showing a PR3! There are not many blogspot blogs that have a high PR8. Even Google's own adsense blog is a PR7.
