I agree with you thsadmin...you are not alone man we're here with ya....

    Couldn't agree more!.....well said bro!

There is a reason why zango has been sued multiple times, if I was a user I'd hate to have cr@pware installed in my computer... WATCH THIS: http://youtube.com/watch?v=4l6vRzRasAU ... zango is the same scumbag company which sued anti-spyware company PC Tools for "interfering with their business"..don't believe me? read this > http://www.infoworld.com/article/07/05/18/zango-sues-antispyware-vendor_1.html

if you have traffic you know there are much better ways to monetize it than infecting your own visitors (INFECTING is the correct term here) ...... so while I'm not here to discuss or argue "profits" acquired by infecting people's computers, I do feel like I have to say "promoting zango is simply promoting malware at its finest, PERIOD."

Thankyou, I knew others would come along and stop this fraudster aswell, just look at the Google Ad's above and related to this thread, they're all Spyware related ad's and Adware - coincidence I think not.

here is the link http://cjclassaction.com/

To quickly sumarize the reason these BIG affiliate companies are going bullistic against zango (and the many names it uses!) is because once their "program" has been installed in a visitor's computer it starts "displaying ads" ... BUT that's not all, IF you are a CJ affiliate you are promoting their products through PPC, organic optimization ..... you know that promoting products and getting decent traffic is not easy BUT what would happen if every sale which was supposed to be credited to your account was credited to zango's accounts instead?.......would you be happy with that?, the software installed in people's computers displays similar sign up pages to the products you are promoting but with a different affiliate code..........

Basically promoting zango is the "rocket-launcher-foot" technique .... and congratz to all of you who are pushing this deceptive company....lets see just how far it goes :)

"Hijacking the thread" is an interesting choice words

He might come back just to brag about his numbers, and I understand why many newbies (or people who didn't know about zango's deceptive ways) were really impressed by his screenshots but where newbies see convertions I see hundreds of people infected every single day.....how's that for a business model?

Yeah I see BS screen shots myself, that's where the fight originated from on my behalf, the max' they will display on the progress and earnings report is .75 (cents) and on his stats they are above .80-.85cents an install (and that's only for US installs), so I think that he's full of shit, why would anyone making 400-600 a day want affiliates under him ? and push a thread like this to earn pennies - compared to his claimed earnings.

Anyone promoting Zango is slapping all affiliate marketers in the face. In fact, Zangocash and the likes should be banned from being mentioned/promoted on forums such as this one.

Well it (the gateway) can block the Google spider and yes it is associated with harming ones computer, Google may be slow on retrieving this information but it's a possibility, users will get p1ssed aat you also, I'm not sure if it still does but the pop up pages/ad's used to say "These ad's are brought to you by "YOUR SITE" and Zango" hence they would dob you in for infecting that persons computer.

OMG, you completely missed the point of the discussion here. First let me point you towards the evidence you need in order to make sure zango CAN hurt people's computers:

    FORBES:
    http://www.forbes.com/security/2006/11/03/adware-ftc-zango-tech-security-cx_ll_1103zango.html

    INFO WORLD:
    http://www.infoworld.com/article/07/05/18/zango-sues-antispyware-vendor_1.html

    TECH DIRT:

    http://techdirt.com/articles/20061108/131342.shtml

I might be wrong but TROJANS can surely do some harm to people's computers.

Now onto Google, lets first state that google has billions of pages indexed, of those sites thousands have tried to spam its SERPs and gain #1 results for its keywords, in the past several have succeeded.... I had the pleasure of working with a client who told me that in the past he had been ripped off by a website advertising in Google (money mule) ....... here is the BBB review for that particular scam:

    http://www.labbb.org/BBBWeb/Forms/Business/CompanyReportPage_Expository.aspx?CompanyID=13087146

    THE POINT
I'm trying to make here is that Google IS NOT GOD, while it does a good job screening and filtering sites, it is up to people to discover which businesses/websites are good and which ones are bad...

NOW, back to the point of the complaints on the thread.
No one is complaining about negative effects promoting Zango could have on people's sites the list of problems are:

    - Zango infects people's computers
    - Commissions are taken away from honest publishers by the zango software installed. (hence lawsuits)
    - ETC, ETC, ETC....

Basically the way they do business is shady and deceitful......so it doesn't matter if their software fails to affect everyone's business (obviously certain webmasters make money infecting people's computers) but as long as it affects web users and webmasters commissions, this is a form of business I do not approve.

I used zango a few years ago, it was named loudcash at that time.
I will use it again, ONLY if I will be starving and it will be my only choice of making some bucks.
When someone visits your site, he is actually helping you make money and you give him back some spyware as a thank you?!
If you think zango is ok, you are just fooling yourself. It's not like they discovered the secret of giving the best payouts, if they would be 100% legal and ethical, then other companies would do the same. But they are kind of unique, aren't they? Oh yes, there are some other programs spreading trojans and dialers, but they keep a low profile, zango are the only who managed to work with the masses.
You make $400/day ? good, it's a lot of money, but if they are made with zango, then it is not something to be proud of.
One more question for zango affiliates, do you have zango stuff installed on your computer? You should, if you feel it's so ok, then you won't mind having it on your comp.

haha your funny, anyway believe all that if you want its up to you Im not trying to convert you. Im quiet happy at 1200$ a day and offering advise to others. If anyone is dubious about it just install zango yourself and see how simple it is to remove, it just takes seconds, what was probably once bad as in that which you indicate above, now adheres to all regulations.
